I just bought (nov 2008) 2 tubes of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and went to cut the box tops and they were already expired 6/1/08.  I called the number on the package and they just said "sorry", they must have had some old packaging.  I would check all Pillsbury stuff before you buy it

The same thing happened to me with a tube of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls! Some Pillsbury biscuits I bought at the same time had box tops that were fine, though. Maybe it's only the cinnamon rolls?

I always check the boxtops dates, on all participating products before I buy.   Gail

FYI:  Coordinators have been told that they can still turn those in until December since they are still on the shelves.

Did they notify the coordinators by email?  I just tossed a bunch of those before the 10/31 deadline as I was told they didn't accept expired boxtops.

If you're the coordinator log-in to the coordinator forum and do a search about expired Pillsbury or something along that line.  If you're a parent just put those expired Box Tops in a baggie/envelop w/ a note to your coordinator saying you'd just purchased the item w/ the expired Box Tops and ash her/him to verify on the Coordinator Forum that they can still be submitted.  A coordinator did get an e-mail saying these could be submitted because it was a printing error on Pillsbury part, I think??

It is true your coordinator can turn in expired box tops with 6/08 expiration date as long as they come from pillsbury or old elpaso products because as was previously mentioned a printer error.  they printed too many packages with that expiration date for them to be sold before that date.  just package expireds seperately from your others so your coordinator can submit them before dec. 31

This is not true...I am a coordinator and if those BoxTops are out dated ,or if the date is cut off or unreadable for whatever reason when  they are sent in they will be discarded. The company does go through all of them making sure they are eligible.           Melinda

I was  just going on my experience from last year... I had alot of the coupons declined because they were out dated, when I called the main office I was told "Sorry" it could not be excepted .... That we should check the expiration date in the store before we buy....I  couldn't see why they told me that last year and then turn around and allow it for this, just doesn't seem fair.  Melinda
